DANCE
College served as my introduction to the Bay Area Hip Hop scene, leading me to opportunities dancing alongside Rickey Tripp with Idiom & Allan Frias with Mind Over Matter before heading to Emerson Aquino & more at Funkanometry SF. A few years down the line, I lead the first Funkanometry Performance Workshop and became Director of the all female dance team, delafemme.
My pieces have been performed by teams such as Culture Shock Oakland, Chapkis Dance/Prophecy, VIP, Groove Against the Machine, Funkanometry SF, & more. I have also choreographed and danced in videos for local artists such as Netta Brielle and EvenOdds.
My style can be best described as groovy with both feminine & masculine elements, with a heavy focus on musicality.
